Care, by Carmen Sarabia

Interview

A Caring Society?

As societies evolve, certain features become more prominent. One example is how we care for each other, an issue that is deeply rooted in the culture and history of each society but also inherently bound up in the forces and dynamics shaping the contemporary world. Who provides care, how should care be, who pays for it all...? There's no set answer to these questions. In societies such as ours, which are ageing rapidly and in which culture and tradition often clash with the current way of the world, knowing how to find the right answer is both vital and pressing. For a taste of this debate, we encourage you to watch this Observatory Cafe with Carmen Sarabia.
